CHINA. The Patriotic Emblem of the Republic of China, ND (ca. 1920).
35.5 x 55.5 gms; 18.0 gms. Irregularly-shaped badge with loop for ribbon at top. The obverse with a globe showing the Eastern hemisphere with a Chinese Republican flag on a pole at the top. A Chinese inscription in an oval band surrounds the image, and there is a single character to each side of the flagpole. The reverse is blank except for a rectangle enclosing an eight seal script characters in two columns. Housed in a custom-fitted hinged case which, while complete and functional, is a bit tattered. The six character inscription on the lid is completely readable. VERY FINE.
