With bullet-shaped point and three-rivet attachments, ends shaped like Viking sword-pommels. MLMC.type.A2-3v. 5" long. Choice for iron. Rare and Important. The Battle of Stamford Bridge has the English king Harold Godwinson defeating the Viking forces of Harald Hardrada. However, this battle so weakened and delayed the English forces that the Norman forces of William were victorious at Hastings about a week later.
