An intriguing uniface threesome in platinum, each piece boldly defined in the centers, with edges that lack full detail due to the hardness of the metal. Minimal handling is present and reflectivity on the black sides of each coin show that these were produced using specially polished planchets. Likely struck at a later date (at least on the two earlier dated pieces) and thus not technically trials, but certainly created in their likeness. Whatever the case, extremely rare and quite possibly unique; this group last appearing in a 2003 UBS auction where they brought 16,000 CHF.
