French Colony aluminum-bronze Specimen Pattern 40 Francs ND (1958) SP65 PCGS, Paris mint, Lec-22. One of six patterns produced by different engravers for this denomination, the present example having been engraved by Delannoy. A mere 33 pieces of each of the six types was produced. This example retains remarkable surfaces, lustrous with few post-strike imperfections.
