Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel. August the Younger 1-1/2 Taler 1655-HS MS63 NGC, Zellerfeld mint, KM450.1, Dav-71 (LS). Henning Schlüter as mintmaster. Superbly struck for this popular variety without the value stamp. Deep gray tone has settled over much of the surfaces punctuated by flashes of blue-green iridescence. Very little doubling or striking weakness is noted for the type and instances of abrasion or contact on the surfaces are few.
