Württemberg. Wilhelm I 2 Gulden 1854 MS66 NGC, KM595, Dav-957. The nicest graded example by NGC, this wondrous gem exhibits a steel-gray tone with hints of light rosé, along with a splendid underlying luster. Truly a specimen to behold, this by far exceeds its NGC MS65 counterpart which we sold in our 2014 CICF auction (sale 3032, lot 31677) for a hammer of $550.
