Elizabeth I (1558-1603) Crown 1601-1602 VF30 NGC, Tower mint, Seventh issue, "1" mm, KM7, S-2582, North-2012. A handsome example of this issue, moderately well-struck with light tone and a peppering of annealing flaws, typical for the type. A handful of scratches are located in the second quarter of the reverse arms. Included with this lot is the sales envelope from Superior's auction of June, 1976 (Lot 1451).
