Republic gold 10 Pesos 1879 Zs-S MS63 NGC, Zacatecas mint, KM413.9, Fr-138. The single finest example certified and possibly the finest extant for the date, with luminous mint bloom in the fields and pinpoint detail through the Cap & Scales motif as well as in the corresponding eagle's feathers. While not attributed as such on the NGC insert, this appears to be the 1879/8 overdate issue.
