Philip II 4 Reales ND (1568-70) P-R VF Details (Saltwater Damage) NGC, Lima mint, KM10.1, S-L1, CT-Unl. Assayer, "R" for Rincon. A rare early issue, recovered from shipwreck as is typical, but nicer than most, with an even strike that shows minimal doubling and significant legibility of much of the legends due to its placement on the flan. Somewhat amazingly, this is our first offering of the type at auction.
