United East India Company Pattern 2 Kepings 1787 VF Details (Environmental Damage) PCGS, KM-Pn6, Prid-31, Sch-959c (RRRR). Although moderately corroded, the major identifying features of this extremely rare pattern remain clear, to include the legends, date, and the rosettes to the side of the date that define the Pridmore variety (one has been lost to corrosion but the one to the left side remains). The edge is the undulated variety, plain with a concave channel running the length of the edge and is mostly intact, although there are minor losses to the edge as well. All in all, an acceptable representative of an excessively rare type that is certain to elicit much interest amongst type collectors of this complex period in the history of the East Indies.
