Basel. City Medallic 2 Taler (c. 1710) AU58 PCGS, Basel mint, KM130, Dav-1742A (LS588), HMZ-298a, Divo-87. 7 Ships variety. A beautiful and artistic city view medal showing both sides of the Rhine river on the obverse, and a winged dragon carrying the civic arms of Basel on the reverse. Very light handling marks prevent this coin from achieving Mint State status, but it nevertheless has great eye appeal, especially considering its lovely light toning throughout.
