Imitating Julian II (AD 360-363). AR "barbarous" siliqua. ANACS EF 40. Unofficial mint in Celtic Roman Britain, ca. 3rd-4th Century AD. Pearl-diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust of Julian II right, seen from front / VOTI V MVLTI X in four lines within wreath terminating in large jewel; LVG in exergue. Prototype RIC 218 (Lugdunum/Lyons). Beautifully toned and nearly correctly executing the official legends and style.
