Republic bronze Pattern 8 Escudos 1836 So-IJ MS64 Brown NGC, Santiago mint, KM-Pn4 (incorrect on NGC insert). High-end quality for the issue, showing little evidence of past handling and remnants of original mint red within the arm of Chile. Very similar to the design adopted in 1839.
