Seated Neptune with trident and Victory in left hand. Struck in 1820 as part of Mudie's series commemorating British military victories. The settlement was in 1662, and The E.I. Company defeat of the French Fleet was in 1804. Exceptionally presented, with iridescent color in the fields that is especially vibrant around Neptune.
