MACEDON, Mende. Circa 510-480 BC. AR Tetradrachm (24.5mm, 16.83 g). Ass stepping right, M on flank (faintly visible); bird standing left on rump, pecking at tail / Incuse square with mill-sail design. Noe, Mende 5 (same dies); HGC 3.1, 541. VF, toned, slightly granular, a couple pits and scratches on reverse. Rare.
