SELEUKID EMPIRE. Seleukos I Nikator. 312-281 BC. AR Drachm (16.5mm, 4.01 g, 3h). Baktra mint. Struck circa 288/7-281 BC. Laureate head of Zeus right / Athena, brandishing spear, shield on left arm, in quadriga of elephants right; anchor and primary monogram above, [secondary monogram to lower left(?)]. Cf. SC C259.4 (tetradrachm, with secondary monogram); cf. SMAK MAT-8–10 (same); cf. HGC 9, 32f. VF, some deposits, roughness and pit on obverse, double struck and off center on reverse. Unpublished and apparently unique.
