A note from BCD: It is a great pity that so few of the ancient coins were photographed in this book; when one reads through the text it becomes obvious that the coins within the ancient exhibits must have been very numerous. Of special interest is the Argos display of Tony Hackens who unfortunately died suddenly 30 years later. He must have left behind an important collection of Argos coins if we take into account that, at that early date of 50 years ago, his holdings were already numbering 53 AR.
