A note from BCD: It is immediately apparent to the reader that Monsieur Eddé was not short of funds when he entrusted the building up of his collection to his charismatic namesake. It is to be regretted though that the provenances of the coins are not listed as most of them come from well-known auctions where Michel-Max was one of the main players.
