A note from BCD: For some reason this collection has not been selling well in the numismatic literature market. Certainly not because there are at least two forgeries in it (nos. 208 = Friedlander 1883, p. 27 and 280 = Caprara, Kinns 35g). Forgeries can creep into any collection, even the most scholarly one. Perhaps this book is not in demand because none of the coins pictured is exceptional in any way. People looking for references can find them elsewhere. For this reason its starting price is very low indeed. Let us see if anyone wants a really cheap reference book on Greek coins.
