A note from BCD: A relatively small catalogue but including some specimens of exceptional quality. A Larissa stater in F.d.c. estimated at 12000 Swiss Francs hammered at 17500 and an Aboukir Medallion to which a whole page of text was devoted went for 94000 on an estimate of 120000. Of the 20 plates of ancient coins, the last two were of enlargements and one more featured just the Aboukir Medallion.
