Severus Alexander. AD 222-235. Æ Sestertius (29mm, 19.20 g, 12h). Rome mint. 15th emission, AD 232. Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Sol standing left, raising hand and holding globe. RIC IV 528; BMCRE 856-7; Banti 112. VF, dark green to black patina with traces of red, some light smoothing.
