Ioannes(?). Circa late 11th-early-12th centuries. PB Seal (30mm, 18.20 g, 12h). Facing bust of St. Ioannes Prodromos (John the Baptist), holding cross-tipped staff and pointing upward / + OV CΦP/AΓIC ЄI[...]/THN ΓPA[ΦHN]/THC HRA/– C – in five lines; – • – above. Unpublished in the standard references. Good VF, light brown and gray patina, a couple of flaws from internal cord.
