Uncertain (Veh-az-Amid Kavād?) mint. Struck circa AH 72-95 (AD 691-715). Janiform Sasanian-style crowned bust; traces of uncertain legend in outer margin / Fire altar flanked by attendants; star and crescent flanking flames. SICA I –; cf. Geyselen Types 48 and 49; Walker, Arab-Sasanian –; Album –; ICV –; cf CNG E-372, lot 573. VF, brown surfaces, some roughness, flan crack . Very rare.
