Port of Spain, Trinidad Royal Bank of Canada $100 January 2, 1920 Ch. # 630-66-06 A reclining semi-nude "Cleopatra" is the prime focal point at center on this very elusive high denomination note for the issuer. This is the first issued example of this large size type we have offered designed specifically for use in Trinidad. The note carries a valuation of $20,000 Canadian in Charlton and we see no reason why this piece that just misses being full XF will not well exceed that figure. Rare Canadian Charter Notes continuously achieve impressive realizations at auction and this note offers both grade and rarity.
