German Notgeld and More - Plus Philippines Guerrilla Currency and More Albums. This lot starts off with eleven photograph albums containing both German paper and coin Notgeld. A twelfth photograph album is partially full of German seals cut from envelopes for governmental departments and non-governmental organizations. These seals are from circa the first third of the twentieth century. The last two photograph albums contain Philippines Guerrilla Currency and Japanese Invasion Money plus a few other pieces, including Philippines postal envelopes from 1944 and 1945 after the return of the United States. The photograph albums are of several different varieties, but they all are of the "sticky" page design that became popular in the 1970s. The notes and other paper items have been placed in paper money holders that have been cut down to the size of the item. Next, the paper money holder was mounted to the "sticky" page. Therefore, the item in the holder has not been damaged. Also, the coin Notgeld are held in coin 2 by 2 holders slipped into coin sheets. The items in this lot are not graded. Our consignor tells us that there are well over 1,500 pieces in total in these albums. Lot count for this lot is 14 books. There will be no returns on this lot for any reason. HID08701242017
