Cyprus Government of Cyprus 2 Shillings 1.3.1920 Pick 15. The 2 Shillings value was the second half of TDLR's 1920 "small change" issue (along with a 1 Shilling denomination). These were all withdrawn and demonetized in 1922 when large supplies of coins arrived on the island. As a result, few remain available. PMG Very Fine 20 with a small missing corner tip noted. No previous auction sales are recorded of this design in any form and this extremely rare note serves as the plate illustration in Linzmayer's Banknote Book-Cyprus chapter where it is unpriced.
