Cyprus Government of Cyprus 10 Shillings 6.10.1947 Pick 23. Shortly after the coronation of King George VI, authorities ordered new 10 Shillings and £1 notes from TDLR in September, 1937. After the first design was rejected, the second design was approved in January of the following year. It essentially is the same as the George V issues except that the portrait is facing the opposite direction. PMG Very Fine 30 with minor rust noted. HID08701242017
