According to Joseph Linzalone, "An extremely rare type, with well formed ram's horns and center creased as if a Ram seen from above. The reverse is a double punch incuse, one punch larger, and shows a surface of sharp linear lines.
"Fractional denominations of this issue with small dual ram's horns can be mistaken for blank issues, as Ln1012. It is not a scarab."
