Great Britain. Shilling, 1839. S.3904; ESC-1283. Victoria Young Head. No "WW" initials on truncation. Gem Uncirculated, fully struck with a wonderfully detailed portrait, lovely satiny luster beneath delightful silvery grayish blue iridescent toning, with flashes of silvery luster peaking around many letters. Interesting die-state with a number of letters in the obverse legend broken or incomplete, most notably (in order) the letters T, A, D, E, B, second N, A and F. An intriguing coin with splendid eye appeal. PCGS graded MS-65. Estimate Value $1,000 - 1,200
