Large Cents
1855 1C Upright 55, N-4, R.1, MS65 Red and Brown PCGS. Grellman Die State a. Two die lumps on Liberty's jaw left of the ear are the most prominent diagnostic for this relatively common variety. A well-struck, unabraded specimen with tremendous mint luster and a small splash of carbon on the top of the first 5 in the date; another is on the lower portion of E in ONE on the central reverse. Neither is overly distracting. Our EAC grade MS62.
