Proof Lincoln Cents
1911 1C PR66 Brown PCGS. The matte finish used on proof coins of this era proved unpopular with collectors and proof mintages were reduced to reflect the declining demand. Only 1,725 proof Lincoln cents were struck in 1911 and few survivors can match the quality and eye appeal of the present coin. The design elements display razor-sharp definition throughout and the mostly red surfaces are impeccably preserved, with strong matte luster on both sides.
