1912-S 5C MS63 PCGS. The distinctive satin luster of the 1912-S nickel is especially prominent on this Select example, which shows only a light hue of golden toning. The coin is well-preserved and well-struck save for the corn ear to the left of the wreath bow, which is a trifle soft as usual. This semikey San Francisco issue boasts the lowest mintage of the series by a large margin at 238,000 coins.
