Buffalo Nickels
1924-D 5C MS65 PCGS. CAC. The 1924-D does not get the same level of recognition as some other mintmarked Buffalo nickel issues, but it is elusive nonetheless, scarce at the Gem level and exceedingly rare any finer. The present example is well struck for the issue with soft nickel-gray luster that shows delicate reddish-orange elements. PCGS has graded eight numerically finer examples (7/17).
