Seated Quarters
1875-CC 25C XF40 PCGS. CAC. Briggs 2-B. This is a well-detailed example of the scarce 1875-CC issue, showing original pewter-gray patina with olive and gold accents. Uncirculated examples of this issue are rare, heightening demand for high-end circulated pieces. A relatively small mintage of 140,000 coins, which almost entirely entered circulation in the Western territories during the 19th century, explains the scarcity of this Carson City quarter dollar. Population: 18 in 40, 56 finer. CAC: 1 in 40, 15 finer (7/17).
