1795 50C 2 Leaves, O-117a, T-3, R.4 -- Tooled -- PCGS Genuine. AU Details. Tompkins Die State 2/4. An interesting coin for study, sharply struck with strong About Uncirculated definition, but tooled in the lower right obverse field (apparently in an attempt to remove adjustment marks). A planchet streak runs along the left-hand stars, with a large, ragged planchet flake between stars 4 to 8 and the rim. Pleasing steel-gray surfaces show glimpses of golden mint luster in protected areas.
