1836 50C Reeded Edge, GR-1, R.2 -- Improperly Cleaned -- NGC Details. VF. The steel-gray surfaces of this midgrade 1836 Reeded Edge half dollar are slightly smokey from an old cleaning, with deeper olive patina surrounding the borders. A loupe reveals scattered light marks over each side, as expected for the grade.
