Proof Trade Dollars
1882 T$1 PR55 PCGS. A slightly circulated example of this proof-only issue. Dusky gray toning covers both sides with deeper peripheries. The fields still retain most of the original proof reflectivity. Many late-series proof Trade dollars were spent in the 19th century during hard economic times and in the absence of strong collector interest in preserving the coins.
