1922 1C No D, Strong Reverse, FS-401 -- Lacquer -- PCGS Genuine. Unc Details. Die Pair 2. The second 2 in the date is sharp on this, the most desirable of the 1922 No D varieties. The current coin is glossy with iridescent chocolate-brown patina. Thin lacquer prevents a numeric grade, although the remnant of a cartwheel effect produces good eye appeal. There is a subtle area of discoloration at the back of Lincoln's shoulder.
