Early Half Dollars
1794 50C O-105, T-3, R.5 -- Tooled -- NCS. VF Details. Tompkins Die State 1/2. Olive-gold, blue, lavender, and gunmetal-gray toning lightens at the centers of this well-defined 1794 half. Areas of tooling are visible in the right obverse field, with a few old scrapes and digs at the central reverse. Sharp feather detail remains on the eagle's wings and Liberty's flowing hair strands. The date and stars are sharp for the VF Details level. A collectible example despite the problems noted by NCS.
