Liberty Double Eagles
1858-S $20 AU58 PCGS. There is plenty of original mint luster remaining on both sides of this orange-gold survivor. The surfaces are uncommonly well preserved, with little evidence of wear and overall bold definition. Each side is a little scuffy but no more than one should expect for a circulated double eagle from the early years of production at the San Francisco Mint. Population: 51 in 58 (2 in 58+), 19 finer (7/17).
