Liberty Double Eagles
1880 $20 MS60 PCGS. Unlike 1880 double eagles bearing an S mintmark, the twenty dollar gold coins struck at the Philadelphia Mint that year are rarely found in Uncirculated condition. When offered, such coins are usually no higher than MS61. This mint condition double eagle features wheat-gold color with tinges of green. A plethora of abrasions are scattered over each side. Population: 14 in 60, 34 finer (7/17).
