Saint-Gaudens Double Eagles
1926-S $20 MS64 PCGS. This better-date Saint-Gaudens double eagle is in the usual MS64 condition, although it is clearly a fine piece for the grade. Frosty surfaces show original wheat-gold luster and only a few insignificant abrasions. The strike is bold. Although usually available, near-Gem examples of the 1926-S double eagle are in constant demand due to the rarity of higher-grade pieces. This example will appeal to collectors seeking as much quality and eye appeal as possible for the grade.
