1793 1C Wreath, Vine and Bars Edge, S-9, B-12, R.2, PCGS Genuine. Our EAC grade: sharpness of Fine 12, net VG7. Breen Die State VIII with the area between two reverse cracks raised, obliterating the leaves near CA in AMERICA. The PCGS number ending in .97 suggests Environmental Damage as the reason, or perhaps one of the reasons, that PCGS deemed this coin not gradable. In our opinion, this coin has the details of a Fine specimen. Both sides exhibit scattered handling marks on olive-brown surfaces with minor corrosion on the reverse.
