Large Cents
1794 1C Head of 1794, S-35, B-21, R.5 -- Damage -- PCGS Genuine. VG Details. Our EAC grade: sharpness of VG10, net VG8. Breen Die State VI, a late state of the dies with multiple obverse die cracks. These cracks are faint, but present. This is a rare die state as are all states of the variety. Only about 50 examples of the variety are known, yet Breen described eight die states in his reference. An excellent example, this olive-brown cent exhibits a few dents or digs with a reverse rim nick at 7 o'clock. The trivial grading details fail to diminish the overall eye appeal of this rare cent.
