1794 1C Head of 1794, S-50, B-43, R.5 -- Improperly Cleaned -- NGC Details. VG. Our EAC grade: sharpness of VG7, net Good 4. This rare-variety 1794 cent has generally even wear, with indistinctness limited to OF AMERICA and the fraction. LIBERTY and the date are the key legends, since their placement distinguishes S-50 from the much more prevalent S-49. The moderately porous surfaces exhibit sea-green and mahogany undertones, and the reverse has a small rim ding at 12 o'clock.
