1798/7 1C First Hair Style, Overdate, S-152, B-13, R.2, Good 6 PCGS. Our EAC grade: sharpness of VG8, net Good 5. Breen Die State II. Light-brown and steel patina alternates with some deep-gray build up, accompanied by granularity and minor pitting. The left serif of an underdigit 7 protrudes from the upper-left curve of 8 on the S-152 variety, confirmed by a blundered E in AMERICA.
