1798 1C Second Hair Style, S-177, B-25, High R.4 -- Environmental Damage -- PCGS Genuine. VG Details. Our EAC grade: sharpness of VG8, net Good 4. Late die state, with a vertical die crack from the drapery up through the field near Y, and horizontal crack from the rim through the date. The dark steel and olive-brown surfaces are lightly porous, but the date and most lettering remain legible, although UNITED is weak.
