1885-S $1 MS64 Prooflike PCGS. The 1885-S Morgan dollar claims a mintage of nearly 1.5 million pieces and specimens in MS64 condition are not difficult to locate. However, Choice specimens with prooflike surfaces are much more elusive. This delightful MS64 example offers well-detailed design elements and deeply reflective fields that show a few minor hair lines and contact marks. PCGS has graded 13 numerically finer Prooflike examples and one Deep Mirror Prooflike specimen in MS65 (7/17).
