1854-S G$1 AU55 PCGS. This is a well-struck example of the first gold dollar struck at the San Francisco Mint. Large denomination gold was the primary product of the new branch mint in 1854, and only 14,632 gold dollars were coined. This issue is scarce in AU grades and rare in Mint State.
