Gold Dollars
1889 G$1 MS67+ PCGS. CAC. The 1889 was struck to the extent of 29,950 coins, considerably more than the ultra-low mintage dates that preceded it. While those earlier issues tend to show prooflike surfaces, the 1889 usually comes lustrous and frosty. Such is the case with this seemingly immaculate Superb Gem. Rose-gold surfaces shimmer when rotated and feature pinpoint detail on the relief elements. An ideal type coin with nine higher grading events at PCGS (7/17).
